System Requirements

The Game Book and games work on Windows computers available since 2000.

Minimum Requirements:

• Windows 98, 2000,  XP, and Vista
• Pentium 166 MHz or faster
• Memory (RAM) at least 256 Mb
• Hard disk storage 100 Mb for the Game Book and 5 Mb or less for each game
• Screen resolution 1024 X 768 or greater.
  (Works at 800 X 600 with a Screen Reader or the Game Voice)
• CD ROM or DVD if installing from CD
• Speakers and sound card if using the 7-128 Software Game Voice

JAWS

The Game Book and our games have been tested with JAWS 5, 6, 7, and 8.

In order to work with any software, including ours, JAWS requires the Java Access Bridge software from Sun Microsystems.

We include a copy of the Java Access Bridge with our Game Book.

ZoomText

The Game Book and our games have been tested with ZoomText 9.0.

The Game Book and our games work with the magnifier part of ZoomText.

They do not work with the speech part of ZoomText.

7-128 Software Game Voice

The Game Book and our games include the 7-128  GameVoice™.

This is FREE speech synthesis software that enables the Game Book and our games to self-voice.  It is included in the Game Book and requires no special software, drivers, or hardware, other than a speaker.

Dragon Naturally Speaking

The Game Book and our games have been tested using voice input from Dragon Naturally Speaking Preferred 8.0.
